The CERTI Amazon Institute is a Reference Centre for Technological Innovation that operates in the generation, acquisition, mastery and application of advanced knowledge to practice the process of technological innovation through cooperative development of innovative solutions for corporate, government and society. Established as a legal entity of private non-profit in 2003, the CERTI Amazon received accreditation in CAPDA in 2004 and operates with the following characteristics and advantages:

• Adopts as benchmarks for performance programs worldwide R & D (such as IDB, NBIC, Community Programme Union, among others);
• It is oriented national policies for S & T & I (PITCE, FINEP, among others), and align with the guidelines regional for the technological development of the Amazon;
• Provides solutions to regional demands We focus on industries PIM;
• Uses expertise organized from broad strategic and product platforms;
• Operates in partnership / networks regionally, nationally and internationally.
